Terribly Odd

A native of Cat Island, The Bahamas, (though born in Miami during a mainland visit by his parents), Terribly Odd grew up in poverty as the son of a dirt farmer. He had little formal education and at the age of 15 was sent to Miami to live with the natives, in order to forestall a growing tendency toward delinquency. while In the U.S., Terribly Odd first experienced the pop culture society that blankets the country - a great shock to a boy coming from a place where he could only manage to receive two television stations on antennae fashioned from aluminum foil. In Miami he found an unknown determination to find and create opportunities for women in crotch less panties, and naughty children.

In his late teens, he traveled to Savannah, did menial jobs and found safety and comfort in the shelter of bus terminals. After a stint at the Savannah College of Art and Design, odd soon realized that he would rather produce "miserable" works and kissed-off the thought of ever creating "fine" art.

Odd's work ranges from the surreal to the decaying scenes of sheer horror spanning film, music, and the unconventional beauty of pop culture; always looking to tread the line between innocence and indecency.
